The mats don't get a day off, and neither does your cleaning routine. Your mats are your money. So care for them properly.
Whether you run a BJJ academy, a wrestling room, an MMA gym, a Muay Thai or boxing gym, or a multi-discipline setup with back-to-back classes from morning till night, your training floors take more punishment than almost any surface in the building. Bare feet, sweat, takedowns, ground work, and a constant rotation of bodies across the same few square metres. The CSH Mat & Gym Floor Cleaner is built for exactly that: a bactericidal surface cleaner made to keep your BJJ and combat sports mats and floors properly clean, session after session, day after day.
Made for the way combat sports gyms actually run
Most cleaning products are built for kitchens and bathrooms, not for a room where thirty people roll barefoot on the same tatami in a single evening. We built this one around the reality of a combat sports gym. It works across the surfaces you actually have: tatami and rollout mats, EVA jigsaw matting, sprung and vinyl floors, and the hard floors around the mat space, so you are not juggling three different products to get the room turned around before the next class walks in.
It is a clear, low-odour formula that fits into a real timetable. No lingering chemical stink hanging over the warm-up, no slippery residue, no faff. Just a straightforward clean that works into your between-class wipe-downs and your end-of-day deep clean.
Bactericidal cleaning you can stand behind
This is not a "smells clean" spray-and-pray. It is a genuine bactericidal surface cleaner:
- Formulated to kill 99.9% of germs, including gym-based and mat-borne bacteria
- Formulated to kill bacteria in 30 seconds, well inside a between-class wipe-down window
- Formulated to conform to EN1276, EN14476 and EN13697
The efficacy testing behind the formulation sits with our UK manufacturer, which matters when you are responsible for a room full of members training on shared surfaces.
It is also sensible to keep around a busy gym. It carries no hazard warning labelling under CLP, and it is unrestricted for transport, so it is easy to store, easy to handle for whoever is on mat-cleaning duty, and easy to reorder.

A clean mat room is a serious gym
Members notice. A mat that is visibly looked after, a room that does not smell, a coach who is clearly on top of hygiene: it is one of the quiet signals that separates a professional academy from a sweaty unit with a few mats in it. Hygiene is part of your reputation, part of why people stay, and part of why parents are happy to send their kids to your junior classes. Keeping your floors properly clean is not admin, it is looking after the people who train with you. This is the product that makes that routine simple and consistent.
How to use
- Clear the mat of loose debris and any obvious dirt.
- Apply the cleaner evenly across the surface, ideally with a sprayer. Dilute at a rate of 4:1 minimum.
- Leave for the contact time stated on the label so the bactericidal action can work.
- Wipe over or mop thoroughly with plain water, and allow the surface to dry before the next class steps on.
Between classes, a quick wipe-down keeps the room fresh. At the end of the day, a fuller clean resets the whole floor.

FAQ
What surfaces can I use it on?
It is made for training-room surfaces: tatami, rollout mats, EVA jigsaw matting, and the sprung, vinyl and hard floors around your mat space. As with any cleaner, if you have an unusual surface, test a small area first.
Is it strong enough for a busy gym?
Yes. It is a bactericidal surface cleaner formulated to kill 99.9% of germs, including gym-based and mat-borne bacteria, formulated to kill bacteria in 30 seconds, and formulated to conform to EN1276, EN14476 and EN13697. It is designed to be the everyday cleaner a combat sports gym builds its routine around.
Does it smell strong or leave residue?
No. It is a clear, low-odour formula chosen so it will not leave the room reeking of chemicals or leave a slippery film on your mats.
