CSH Safe Gym | The Hygiene and Safety Programme for Contact Sports Gyms

Clean mats, stocked kit, trained coaches, members who know the rules. Delivered every two months, with the badge on the wall that says so.

Every gym we speak to has the same problems. A skin case that takes half a class out. A first aid box with a triangular bandage in it and nothing else. New members who don't know the rules until someone's off the mats for a fortnight. None of it is hard to fix. It just needs sorting once and keeping sorted, and that's what CSH Safe Gym is.

It pays for itself two ways

Sell from the desk. Everything in the delivery sells at full retail. Full Guard £16.49. Gear Guard £16.49. The soaps £7.99 and £8.49. Keep what you sell, and get extra stock at partner prices whenever you want it. One Full Guard and one Gear Guard sold from a delivery covers over a third of it.

Let members buy direct. Your code earns the gym 10% on every order placed with it on our site. No stock to hold, no cash to handle, paid to you quarterly. The flyers carry the code, the posters point to it, and your page does the rest.

Most gyms do both.

The badge

When your members see This is a CSH Safe Gym on the wall, this is what it means:

  • Mats cleaned daily with a tested sanitiser
  • Skin infection awareness posters displayed
  • Fully stocked first aid kit for members
  • Coach trained in skin infection awareness
  • Member hygiene rules in place

It's the standard behind the Safer Healthcare in Contact Sports campaign, backed by the UKBJJA, SAFE MMA, the British Wrestling Association and EMMAA. Parents look for it. Insurers like it. Members trust it.

What it costs

£84.99 delivered, every two months (£70.83 ex VAT). That's about £1.40 a day for the products, the kit, the posters, the page, the course and the code. Retail value of the stock alone is over £110 per delivery.

Six-month plan: three deliveries, first aid kit included, then rolling. Rolling plan: minimum two deliveries, cancel any time after with 30 days' notice, kit at our cost price of £24.99 with code SAFEGYMKIT.

Questions gym owners ask

We already have a supplier.

Keep them for what they do. Nobody else does the athlete sprays, the course, the content, the page and pays you on member sales. That's the bit that makes you money back.

We just use bleach, or whatever's under the sink.

Bleach attacks the vinyl in mats, which is why old mats go dull and crack at the seams. It bleaches gis and rashguards, needs mixing right, loses its strength within a day, and has to be rinsed or your athletes are rolling bare-skinned on the residue. Household sprays are worse: fragranced, sticky, and the "kills 99.9%" on the label was tested on a kitchen worktop, not a mat somebody's face is on.

Ours is hypochlorous acid, the same molecule your white blood cells make. Tested to BS EN standards, bactericidal and fungicidal on hard surfaces, pH neutral so it doesn't touch the mat or the gi, ready to use with no mixing, no residue, no rinse and no fumes. And it's in the £84.99. You're already paying for it.

Our members won't buy it.

They already buy something. The poster and the code just point them at what their coach uses. Six a month is the average we plan on.

Are you VAT registered?

Yes. Your invoice shows the ex-VAT price, £70.83 per delivery.

What if we run out before the next delivery?

Email us. Top-ups at partner prices, usually next day.

Can we pause?

Once a year, for one cycle, with a week's notice before the delivery date.

What's the minimum term?

Three deliveries on the six-month plan, two on rolling. After that, cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
