The Odour Removal Guarantee
UK-made science that beats odour at the source. Gear Guard is HOCl, independently tested to BS EN 13727 and BS EN 1650, and it kills the bacteria and fungi behind the smell instead of covering it up.
Use it as directed on gloves, headgear, pads or hard surfaces for 7 days. If the smell hasn't gone, we'll refund a bottle.
Free US shipping over
- Under that, one flat however much you order. One bottle or five, same price.
- US duties and import taxes are on us. Nothing extra to pay at your door.
- Fully tracked from our UK warehouse, typically 5 to 8 business days.
Ten bottles of Gear Guard, the HOCl boxing glove cleaner and gym equipment spray, at £9.10 a bottle against £16.49 each. Built for coaches and clubs who want every glove, pad and headgear in the room cleaned properly, not just sprayed with something that smells nice.
Boxing gloves, Thai pads, shin guards and headgear can't go in a washing machine, so most of them never get cleaned at all. Sweat soaks into the lining, bacteria and fungi feed on it, and the smell is the result. Gear Guard is a hypochlorous acid (HOCl) surface biocide that kills the bacteria and fungi behind gear odour in 60 seconds, then dries clear with no fragrance and no residue.
What's in the pack
- 10 x Gear Guard, 100ml fine-mist spray bottles
- HOCl at 200ppm, made in the UK
- Independently tested to BS EN 13727 (bactericidal), BS EN 1650 (fungicidal) and BS EN 13697 (hard surfaces)
- Hundreds of targeted sprays per bottle
Why coaches buy the 10 pack
- One for every station. A bottle by the bag rack, one with the pads, one at the ring, one at reception and spares for your coaches' kit bags.
- Shared kit gets cleaned between users. Club gloves, loan headgear and focus mitts pass through dozens of hands a week. A quick mist and a one-minute wait between classes is the whole job.
- Members can see it happening. Gear being cleaned at the end of a session tells parents and new starters your gym takes hygiene seriously.
- Kind to the kit you've paid for. No alcohol to crack leather, no bleach to discolour padding or corrode zips, nothing to rinse off.
- Sell the spares. At £9.10 a bottle against £16.49 retail, any you pass on to members cover the pack.
How to clean boxing gloves and gym equipment with Gear Guard
- Spray the inside and outside of gloves, pads, shin guards or headgear until visibly wet.
- Leave for 60 seconds. That's the tested contact time, and it's where the work happens.
- Wipe away the excess with a clean cloth and let the kit air dry before it goes back in a bag.
Use it on: boxing and MMA gloves, Thai pads, strike shields, focus mitts, headgear, shin guards, kit bag linings, benches and shared touchpoints.
Not for: rashguards, gis and hand wraps. Fabric goes in the washing machine. For mats and gym floors, use the 5L Mat and Gym Floor Cleaner.
Questions
How many sessions will 10 bottles cover?
Each 100ml bottle gives hundreds of targeted sprays, and a glove takes a few sprays, not a soaking. A club cleaning its shared gloves and pads after every session usually gets months from a pack.
Is it safe on kit that touches skin?
Yes, once dry. There's no fragrance and no active residue. Spray, wait a minute, wipe, let it dry, and it's ready to use.
Need more bottles?
The Gear Guard 20 pack brings it down to £8.45 a bottle. Just want one? Buy a single bottle of Gear Guard.
Want the whole gym covered?
CSH Safe Gym puts mat cleaner and Gear Guard on a regular delivery, with posters, a first aid kit and a badge your members can see.
