Three bottles of Gear Guard for the price of two and a bit. One for the kit bag, one for the gym, one for the car or the coaches' box. Kills 99.999% of bacteria and 99.99% of fungi in 60 seconds, tested to BS EN 13727, BS EN 1650 and BS EN 13697. Save over 20% and get free tracked shipping.
Who buys three
Coaches and gyms. Pads, mitts, Thai suitcases, shared headgear and the bench by the door: one bottle at each end of the mat and one in the office lasts a term. This is the pack that the first Gear Guard orders were already made of, before we'd built it.
Anyone with more than one bag. Boxing gloves in one, MMA gloves in another, shin guards somewhere else. A bottle in each means the kit actually gets sprayed, because the spray is where the kit is.
Households. Two kids in a Muay Thai class and a parent who boxes is three sets of gloves and one very sorry hallway.
What Gear Guard is
A hypochlorous acid surface biocide in a 100ml fine-mist bottle, made in the UK. Tested to BS EN 13727 (bactericidal), BS EN 1650 (fungicidal) and BS EN 13697 (hard surfaces). No fragrance, no residue, not alcohol, so it doesn't dry out leather or crack glove foam. The full comparison against alcohol sprays, fragrance sprays and diluted bleach is on the Gear Guard guide page.
How to use it
Spray until the surface is visibly wet. Wait 60 seconds, which is the tested contact time and the bit people skip. Wipe with a clean cloth. Let it air dry before it goes back in the bag. Gloves after every session, pads on club nights, the kit bag lining once a week. A single glove takes a few sprays, not a soaking, so each bottle gives you hundreds of targeted sprays.
What it's for: boxing gloves, MMA gloves, Thai pads, focus mitts, strike shields, headgear, shin guards, kit bag linings, shared benches.
What it isn't for: rashguards, gis and hand wraps. Fabric goes in the washing machine. Gear Guard is for the kit that can't. Method for each piece of kit: gloves, shin guards and pads, everything else that can't be washed.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same product as the single bottle?
Yes. Same bottle, same formulation, same test standards. Three of them, cheaper.
Can I use it on my skin?
No. Gear Guard is a biocide for equipment. For skin, use Full Guard, the cleansing spray, which is the other half of the routine.
How long do three bottles last a gym?
Depends on the pads. Most clubs get a term from three bottles cleaning shared kit on club nights. If you're going through more than that, the CSH Safe Gym programme puts two bottles in every delivery alongside the mat cleaner.
When does it ship?
Mid-September, in order received, with an email the day it leaves.
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
